Please join us for the 2011 Navy Medicine Resources, Logistics and Analytics Training Symposium, which will take place May 9-12, 2011. The symposium, through the theme "Excellence through Partnership and Best Practices", will explore the interdependencies that exist between three major communities and how to best utilize our relationships to achieve a common goal. This year's event promises to offer a number of opportunities to network and to train alongside counterparts in the resources, logistics, and analytics communities. The goal is to give participants tools to improve business practices, to better working relationships, and to ensure that Navy Medicine continues to provide World Class Care.

Resources - The Navy Medicine Resources Community is pleased to provide opportunities for resource managers to improve their business through collaboration with their counterparts in the logistics community. Training at this year's symposium will focus on the relationship between resources and logistics and will provide tools to strengthen business practices across the fiscal realm. .

Logistics - The Navy Medical Logistics Community is committed to improving effectiveness and efficiency through a cooperative relationship with the resource communities at every command. This year's symposium will provide opportunities to strengthen our working relationships, highlight best practices in acquisition and medical equipment management, and tools to optimize efficiency of our business practices.

Analytics - Analytics, as an evolving term in Navy Medicine, recognizes that analysts can only function effectively as part of a larger, interdisciplinary partnership, bringing diverse skills, issues identification, critical thinking and information sharing together. This year's Analytics content provides a venue that encourages participation from managers and analysts from within many segments of Navy Medicine. Particular opportunities are afforded related to the Industrial Engineering, Health Services Research, Public Health and Medical Informatics disciplines. Professional development and community building opportunities are also offered.
